Welcome to Floatless! Setting up your account is the first step toward streamlining your billing and invoicing. This guide will walk you through the registration process and helping you configure your organization's workspace.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- Work Email: We recommend using a company email address for better team management.
- Company Details: You will need your official company name.
- Decision on Base Currency: Know which currency you will primarily use for billing (e.g., USD, EUR).
Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these simple steps to get your workspace up and running.
Access the Sign Up Page

Enter User Credentials
Start by creating your personal login profile:
- Work Email: Enter your professional email address.
- Full Name: Your display name for your team.
- Password: Create a secure password. It must be at least 8 characters long.
Configure Your Organization
Next, set up your company's digital workspace.
- Company Name: Enter your organization's name (e.g., "Acme Corp").
- Workspace URL: This is the unique web address your team will use to access Floatless (e.g.,
acme-corp.floatless.com). We automatically suggest one based on your company name, but you can customize it.Note: Your Workspace URL must use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
Set Financial Defaults
These settings are critical for your financial reporting and cannot be changed later.
- Billing Country: Select the country where your business is legally registered. This determines default tax rules.
- Operating Currency: Choose your primary currency for financial reports (e.g., USD).
Important: The Operating Currency is permanent and cannot be changed after you create your account. Please choose carefully.
Create Account
Review your details and click Create Account. You will be redirected to your new dashboard immediately.
